Disabled Man Dragged Out Of Telangana Collector's Office After Pleading For Road To His Home

A disabled man in Telangana was forcibly removed from the Collector's office, where he had been pleading for eight years for a road to his home. Every day, he would walk a kilometer to reach the town and another kilometer to get to the main road.

The man, who is disabled, was dragged out of the Telangana Collector's office in Jagtial by security guards on Tuesday during a grievance session. According to reports, the man had attended the session to plead for a road to his home, but his cries fell on deaf ears as authorities instead chose to remove him from the office.

The man, who uses a wheelchair, has been trying to get a road leading to his home for the past eight years. Every day, he travels for a kilometer to reach the town and another kilometer to the main road.

"Every day he goes through this struggle, and none of the previous collectors have taken note. He was hoping that the collector would at least give him some solace, but he did not even get a chance to speak," said one witness of the incident to the media.

The man's removal from the office by security guards has been met with widespread condemnation from the public.
