AAP leader responds to Bikram Majithias bail rejection: VB 'acted on evidence'

Akali Dal politician Bikram Majithia has recently had his bail application rejected. While he has been accused of being involved with the drug trade in the state of Punjab, AAP leader Kanwar Sandhu has responded to the verdict by highlighting the evidence submitted by the VB and calls for further action to be taken.

Sandhu comments that "he [Majithia] was often seen with them [drug mafias Satta and Pindi]. Even today, Akali leaders shamelessly call these charges false. But now the court has made it clear that the evidence is strong and the case is solid". He insists that the Akali Dal must accept responsibility for the scale of the drug trade that proliferated under their rule from 2007 to 2017, and that the evidence submitted by the VB clearly supports the allegations of collusion.

He further alludes to the involvement of Majithia's aide, Satta, saying that the Indian government is already working to extradite him from Canada, which will lead to a "massive political storm" and expose the activities of politicians and drug mafias.

In conclusion, Sandhu reiterates the gravity of the situation, highlighting that "many big fish are yet to be caught" and calling for further action to be taken.
