A SpiceJet flight heading from Pune to Delhi was forced to turn back mid-air due to a technical glitch, triggering panic among passengers. The flap transit light illuminated following the takeoff, and the operating crew carried out all necessary checks, ruling out any immediate danger.

The flight, SG152, which took off at 11.10 am, returned to Pune Airport, and the airline arranged for a replacement aircraft to fly the passengers to Delhi once landing at 12.20 pm. Speaking to the media, one passenger highlighted that while the pilot explained the situation, it was carried out in an unprofessional and unconvincing manner. This incident comes in the wake of several other air traffic glitches in recent times and is a cause of concern for aviation authorities.

The dramatic incident occurred on Sunday and it left passengers shaken and worried about their safety. The airline ensured all passengers would be accommodated on subsequent flights to reach their destination.
