Law Enforced Dismantle Drug Den, HVT Arrested in Zamboanga City

In a recent release, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) announced their successful operation in Zamboanga City, leading to the dismantling of a drug den and the arrest of three High-Value Targets (HVTs).

The operation, supported by the local police, was conducted in Resettlement Phase 1, Calle Sagrado, Lunzuran village, Zamboanga City, on September 3, 2025.

The accused, identified by their aliases, were arrested around 10:38 p.m. The operation was conducted via service of a search warrant, and 17 grams of shabu worth PHP 115,600 were recovered. The drugs were packed in 11 heat-sealed plastic sachets, along with drug paraphernalia, a mobile phone, marked money, and an identification card.

The operation was the result of a series of surveillance missions targeting the drug den. The detainees, who have been detained, are expected to face charges under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

This recent success is another step towards a safer Philippines, free from dangerous drugs and drug-related crimes.
