Delhi-Mumbai Expressway: Tolling Plan For MP, Expected Collection Of Rs 123 Crore

The Madhya Pradesh government has detailed the proposed tolling plan for the upcoming Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, a 245-kilometer section of which will pass through the state.

Tolls will be collected at four toll plazas and an additional six toll points. The toll plazas will be located at Chehat, Neemthur, Garoth, and Dalavada, while the toll points will be located at Bhuteda, Nayapura, Dhamnod, and Timarwani. The tolls will be levied depending on the usage of the road.

According to government estimates, the collection from these tolls is expected to be approximately Rs 123 crore annually.

The Delhi-Mumbai Expressway is a key infrastructure project that will boost economic development in the state and improve connectivity between major cities in India. The project is expected to be completed by March 2025.

"This development will boost the economy of the state and promote further growth and investment in MP. The expressway will also improve connectivity between major cities, paving the way for easier access to various tourist destinations in the state," concluded the state's chief minister, Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
