Samsung Health App Adds Medications Tracking for Indian Users

Samsung has introduced a new feature aimed at helping Indian users manage their medications and promote better health. The Medications feature, integrated into the Samsung Health app, enables users to track their medication list, schedule refills, and receive important medical information and tips.

The feature is a result of collaboration between the brand's R&D, Design, and Consumer Experience teams, catering to the specific needs of Indian consumers. Users can enter the name of their medication into the app, which will provide them with detailed information about the medication, including possible side effects and safety guidance.

The app also allows users to set up alerts to remind them to take their medication, which can be customized to their needs. These alerts and reminders aim to improve medication adherence and help those managing chronic diseases like hypertension or diabetes.

Samsung's Health app already offers sleep management, mindfulness programs, and irregular heart rhythm notification capabilities in India. With the addition of the Medications feature, the brand reinforces its commitment to creating holistic wellness experiences to lead healthier lives for its users.

Kyungyun Roo, Managing Director, Samsung Research Institute, Noida, commented, "With the addition of Medications feature for India in the Samsung Health app, we believe users will be able to manage their medications more conveniently, improve adherence, and maintain better health." Samsung's latest feature is an effort to enhance its customers' daily lives and provide comprehensive health management through its devices and services.
