Colon and rectal cancer is on the rise in India, and Apollo Hospitals is looking to do something about it. They held an awareness seminar about colorectal cancer at their Nellore hospital. Dr. Sriram Satish, the Director of Medical Services, led the event, discussing the state of colorectal cancer in the country and what Apollo is doing to combat it.
There will be a collaboration between the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) and eleven hospitals across the country to enhance the quality, reliability, and safety aspects within the medical sector, in a program named Health-QUEST.
