Shubman Gill's India Jersey Auctioned For 5.41 Lakhs, Bumrah's Shirt Goes For...

Sir Don Bradman's statistical record of 99.94 is the stuff of legend and arguably will never be breached. But if there's one record that Indian opener Shubman Gill could aim for in the future, it is the feat of scoring a century at Lord's before his 22nd birthday.

Gill, who turned 22 last month, scored a confident 81 off 148 balls and shared a crucial 121-run opening stand with Rohit Sharma against England at the Mecca of Cricket last week. Though he missed out on a century, his innings was symptomatic of his rise since his brilliant 91 in the Colombo Test against Sri Lanka in July.

Now, his rise has inspired another milestone related to his Lord's Test jersey. An auction platform has revealed that Gill's signed India Test jersey from the Lord's Test was auctioned for 4,600 (approx. INR 5,41,832). All the funds raised will go to the Red For Ruth charity.

The same source has also revealed that Bumrah's shirt went for 4,200, while Jadeja's fetched the same amount. All the funds raised have been donated to the Red For Ruth charity.
