Tirupati: Huge dump of YSRCP poll material unearthed at Renigunta

A significant controversy has erupted following the discovery of a large stockpile of election campaign materials in a warehouse near Tirupati airport, located within the Srikalahasti Assembly constituency. Election authorities found that the materials were being stored in the warehouse and were set to be distributed to other locations. The election flying squad was the first to locate the materials and immediately alerted the tahsildar and Gajulamandyam police. Allegations surfaced that the warehouses were controlled by Chandragiri MLA Cheivreddy Bhaskar Reddy, which led to claims of pressure on police and officials to prevent access to the premises. TDP activists intervened, using the cVIGIL app to raise concerns and demand an inspection of the warehouse before the material-laden lorry could be moved. Late on Tuesday night, officials opened the warehouse, documented the contents, and resealed it. The inventory was reportedly valued at Rs 50 crore and was linked to the YSRCP.
