LSG To Part Ways With Zaheer Khan, Fill 2 New Positions

Zaheer Khan's exit strategy is underway as Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) reportedly part ways with the former cricket player after just one season. Khan served as a mentor for LSG during the 2022 IPL season but will now be replaced by someone else.

A formal announcement about the same is expected to be made in the coming days.

Armed with a new mantle, LSG is also welcoming Bharat Arun as its new bowling coach. The former national level bowling coach will be taking up the position left vacant by the departing Andy Bichel.

Arun, a former bowling coach of the Indian national cricket team, has previously worked with the Sri Lankan cricket team and the Kerala Ranji team, among others.

He will now be a vital part of the LSG franchise.

The team is not stopping here. LSG is said to be planning to fill another vacant position a new mentor to fill Khan's shoes.

The new hires come as the team is preparing for the upcoming IPL 2023 season.
