"The youngsters, especially the batters, are pushing the seniors and transitioning into the professional level much quicker nowadays. Even in the nets, you can see the intensity and it has benefited the seniors as well as they have upped their game," said Das.

Das, a former India cricketer and a successful administrator, believes that the current bunch of seniors is closely monitoring their fitness standards and workload management. The aim is to stay ahead of the competition as team selection for the upcoming TN Premier League (TPL) is underway.

"The seniors are also helping the younger players in every aspect, both on and off the field. The competition is healthy and I am hopeful this will reflect in better results for Tamil Nadu in the future," he added.

The team's performance in the recent TNCA Trophy and the lucrative TNPL has attracted audiences.
