Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson is reportedly wanted by two different franchises in this year's IPL trade window. Kolkata Knight Riders have now joined Chennai Super Kings in expressing interest in the talented batter, and have offered a couple of young players in exchange.

According to sources close to the franchise, KKR have offered to send Angkrish Raghuvanshi and Ramandeep Singh to the Royals, in a bid to secure the services of the captain. CSK, who are looking for an outright purchase of Samson, are still in the running to secure his services ahead of the new IPL season.

Samson has been in sensational form in the IPL over the last few years, and was named as the full-time captain of the Rajasthan Royals franchise following the 2021 season. He scored 460 runs in 15 games, at an average of 40, a highlight being an unbeaten 119 against Punjab Kings.

Whether this form has convinced KKR and CSK to fight for his signature remains to be seen, but Samson is surely putting his best foot forward ahead of the IPL 2023 season.

With two prominent offers on the table, it will now be up to the Rajasthan Royals to decide the future of their captain, who has led the team in 22 IPL matches across two years, with the team winning 11 of those matches.
