Anahat Singh, a class XII student from India, has done it again. She fought Nour Khafagy of Egypt in the quarterfinals of the NSW Bega Open 2025 to enter the semifinals. This talented 17-year-old Indian squash player has now become the first Indian to play in the semifinals of the Women's Squash Association (WSA) World Tour event.

From being the first Indian to win the British Junior Open Championships U19 to entering the semifinals of the NSW Bega Open, Anahat Singh is, without a doubt, paving her way to success and inspiring many Indian girls to take up squash with ambition.

With a competitive spirit, Anahat Singh will face Habiba Hani, the top seed from Egypt, in the final match. Hani is also the current world No. 31 and has won four WSA World Tour titles.
