In a week-long operation to protect women and children, the Cyberabad Women and Child Safety Wing saved 238 children and caught 67 individuals harassing women. The operation, which included decoy operations, reunified 225 kids with their families and sent 13 to rehabilitation. Additionally, the unit received 29 complaints from women and held 51 awareness programmes and 4 counselling sessions to prevent further crimes. The unit also reached out to 172 participants through awareness sessions to prevent human trafficking and related crimes, such as child labour and child marriages.

The Cyberabad Police Women and Child Safety Wing reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding vulnerable members of society through proactive policing, public outreach, and victim support in a statement. Needy individuals can contact helplines such as the Women's Helpline (181), the Child Helpline (1098), Dial 100, or the Cyber Crime Helpline (1930).
