Shah Rukh Khan to file police complaint against NCB Officer Wankhede for 'staging Aryan'

Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan are reportedly preparing to file a police complaint against NCB officer Sameer Wankhede for allegedly 'staging' their son Aryan Khan's drugs case.

The development comes after the Khan's legal team, headed by senior advocate Mukul Rohatgi, submitted a written complaint to the Commissioner of the Mumbai Police, in which they alleged that Aryan Khan was 'illegally detained' and that the NCB had forcible taken him to Mumbai and involved him in the case.

The lawyer has demanded an inquiry into the allegations of wrongful detention and also claimed that there were ample grounds for the complaint as Aryan Khan's fundamental rights had been violated.

A senior police officer confirmed that they had received the legal team's complaint, and added that they would initiate an inquiry after examining the available evidence.

"The Mumbai Police will look into the matter and if there is any evidence of wrongdoing by any officer, then it will be taken seriously and necessary action will be taken," the officer said.

This development coincides with the NCB submitting its report on the drugs-on-cruise case to the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Mumbai Police.

The NCB has charged Aryan Khan and 19 others with conspiracy, possession, and consumption of drugs.
