Revenue summits to streamline land issue resolution within 45 days: Bojjala

Tirupati: Srikalahasti MLA Bojjala Sudhir Reddy announced on Sunday that the government is dedicated to resolving land-related issues within 45 days through a series of revenue summits. Speaking at a revenue summit in Velampadu village, he underscored the initiative’s significance in tackling long-standing land disputes, promoting transparency, and modernizing the revenue administration system to serve the public more effectively. MLA Sudhir Reddy credited Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for advocating a citizen-focused approach to governance. "These revenue summits are vital for settling disputes over government lands and addressing issues from the past five years. The initiative aims to empower citizens by ensuring their concerns are addressed swiftly," said the MLA.

He emphasized the government's efforts to modernize revenue administration through digitization and technological advancements. By digitizing land records, streamlining tax collection, and introducing advanced tools, the government intends to reduce corruption and improve public service delivery. "This is a major step towards better governance. With modern systems in place, we aim to create a transparent, efficient, and citizen-centric revenue framework that benefits all, especially the farming community," he added.

The MLA criticized the re-survey process conducted by the previous YSRC government, describing it as a hurried effort that caused numerous problems for farmers. He explained that the errors in the previous re-survey were due to improper procedures and insufficient time. "Our government has recognized the difficulties faced by farmers because of these mistakes. Through these revenue summits, we are addressing and correcting those errors, ensuring fairness and accuracy," he said. Sudhir Reddy assured attendees of his personal commitment to resolving the grievances raised during the program.
