Cricket legend and Pakistan's superstar bowler Wasim Akram is in hot water over allegations of promoting gambling apps. Faced with a complaint filed in Lahore's NCCIA, Akram has not made a statement yet on the issue.

The complaint was filed by a local man, Muhammad Fiaz, who claims that the advertisement is a violation of multiple federal laws of Pakistan and can be considered as a corrupt practice under section 168 of the Gambling Act.
