Minister for Municipal Administration P Narayana has promised to develop all primary and upper primary schools, as well as high schools, run by municipal administration in the entire state. This development will take place under the P-4 concept in a phased manner, involving local philanthropists in each school's respective area.

Narayana visited Chinnabalaiah and Mallela Sanjeevaiah High Schools in 9th and 45th divisions of Nellore city, and stated that 15 municipal high schools in the city will be developed by next June. This development initiative is intended to transform Nellore into a mosquito-free city.

The Minister accused the previous YSRCP government of halting underground drainage works that were started in 2014 when he was the M&U Minister, citing political reasons. He assured action and indicated that funds will be sanctioned to resume this necessary work.
