Andhra Minister pledges to improve public administration at Nellore grievance forum

In a bid to address public grievances and improve public administration, Dr Ponguru Narayana, Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development in Andhra Pradesh, hosted a public grievance redressal forum alongside Health Minister Y Satya Kumar Yadav. The special event was organised at Tikkana Bhavan in the Nellore district, marking a move towards efficient public service delivery and enhanced administrative efficiency.

Attendees included Nellore rural MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy, District Collector O Anand, and SP Krishna Kant, highlighting the significance of the event. Minister Narayana personally approached Parvati, a disabled woman from Padarupalli, to receive her petition and assured her of a prompt resolution, ensuring that the event was not just about collecting petitions but about providing solutions.

Narayana stated that the forum was organised as per the directives of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, emphasising that issues requiring field-level inspection are under review, while those needing state-level intervention are being forwarded. The minister further assured strict action against irregularities in Jagananna Layouts, cases of forgery in the Nellore Municipal Office and District Health Department Office, signalling a shift towards accountable and effective public governance.

The ministers' remarks emphasized the importance of streamlining administration and enhancing public service delivery to provide better governance and prompt relief to the public.
