Hyderabad Polices liaison termed vital for peace

In a meeting with the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Hyderabad, Adeel Hussain Chandio, and representatives from the Hyderabad Chamber of Small Traders & Small Industry (HCSTSI), Saleem Memon emphasized the importance of the business community's guidance to the police in maintaining peace in the region.

Saleem Memon, president of HCSTSI, raised concerns about the growing crime rate in the region and the shortage of police personnel. He suggested that the police take measures to establish a community policing system and a crowd management unit to improve law enforcement and maintain peace.

SSP Adeel Hussain Chandio acknowledged the importance of the business community's recommendations and assured them of the police department's efforts to improve its functioning. He highlighted the importance of public awareness about the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) and the need for parents to take care of their children's online activities.

He also assured the business community that the police would look into their concerns about the increasing number of beggars in the city and take appropriate action.

The SSP appreciated the suggestion to organize open courts for public redressal and acknowledged the efforts of his predecessors in increasing the police force in Hyderabad. He further added that over 550 new personnel would join by June, with over 150 officers trained for the Rapid Response Force (RRF).

Saleem Memon praised the SSP's strict measures against narcotics and recommended that the police take further steps to improve the security situation in Hyderabad.
