Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin emphasized his commitment to advancing the state's development based on the principles of social justice, equality, religious tolerance, and fraternity. During an event where he inaugurated projects worth Rs 171 crore and distributed Rs 184 crore in assistance under the Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare department, the Chief Minister highlighted his efforts to create a Tamil Nadu grounded in these values.
He explained that the Dravidian model of governance aims for inclusive development, ensuring that "everything is provided to everyone." In the past three years, the state government has constructed 12 Adi Dravidar student hostels at a cost of Rs 175 crore, alongside various educational concessions for Adi Dravidar and Tribal students.
The Chief Minister also launched welfare schemes valued at Rs 149 crore, inaugurated new school buildings, hostels, and community centers worth Rs 32.95 crore, and laid the foundation for hostel buildings and learning centers totaling Rs 138 crore.
Additionally, financial assistance of up to Rs 10 crore was provided through TAHDCO to help the landless purchase agricultural land. Stalin also handed over keys to beneficiaries of 943 newly constructed homes for conservancy workers and Irular tribes. Furthermore, he distributed Rs 62 crore in aid to 776 beneficiaries across various welfare programs and issued appointment orders.
