Crime Reporting Made Easy With RajCop Citizen

Breaking stereotypes around police-public relations, the Rajasthan Police has upgraded its citizen-centric application, making it even more robust and user-friendly. With RajCop Citizen, users can not only report crimes but also seek police assistance and verify domestic help credentials with just a touch. This new feature, along with the ability to access vehicle details, is expected to improve emergency response and reduce crime rates in the state. However, with Rajasthan reporting the third highest number of "crimes against women" and rape cases, there is much still to be done.

The recently upgraded android application, RajCop Citizen, was relaunched with added features to boost its functionality. With just a touch on their smartphones, users can now seek assistance from the police in emergency situations. They can also verify the credentials of their domestic employees and retrieve information about a stolen vehicle.

Rajasthan Minister of State for Home Gulabchand Kataria, who released a special poster on the app at the relaunch function, said that the application is part of the government's initiative to digitize government services to make them more accessible to the public.

The app is currently only available to android users, but an iOS version is expected to launch soon.
