As rains flooded certain areas of Hyderabad overnight, the Cyberabad traffic police issued an advisory urging IT companies to stagger work timings to ease congestion and ensure smooth emergency services. Officials also asked commuters to plan their travel carefully due to low visibility, slippery roads, and slow-moving traffic. The advisory came as overnight and early morning showers caused waterlogging and traffic snarls in certain areas.

The Hyderabad traffic control room reported that conditions were largely manageable. It was mostly drizzling overnight and not heavy rains. As of the 7 am report, no waterlogging points were found, and traffic was moving smoothly, an official said.
