In-form Lewis Hamilton admitted that he is yet to have "real fun" driving for Ferrari, despite sealing a brilliant pole-to-flag victory at the Austrian Grand Prix. At a press conference following his win in Austria, Hamilton stated that he is constantly seeking to restore the joy he felt at Mercedes to his current team, Ferrari. He commented, "I don't think I've had a real fun race yet. I don't think I've had a battle. I don't think I've been pushed or had to push myself.

I don't think I've made any mistakes which is unusual for me, so I'm normally like, banging wheels and doing all sorts of stupid stuff because I'm having fun. I am constantly reminding myself of what I did in the last race, asking myself if I am enjoying it, and if I am doing everything I can. I know ultimately the results do tend to even out."

Despite his lack of 'fun', Hamilton is having a stellar season, closing in on a century of F1 wins. His victory in Austria was the 98th of his career, putting him just two behind the legendary Michael Schumacher.
