In La Crosse, Wisconsin, Vice President JD Vance highlighted the benefits of Trump's tax bill to American manufacturing, visiting a steel fabrication plant and discussing local job growth.

"I grew up in a steel town in Ohio, and I remember how much the collapse of the steel industry hurt our community. But now, thanks to the leadership of President Trump, America is producing record amounts of steel and employing thousands of hard-working Americans like you folks who used to vote for Democrats," said Vance, transitioning into a speech about the country's current economic status, partly driven by pandemic recovery and highlighted by a strong manufacturing sector.

In an effort to appeal to working and middle-class voters, Vance highlighted economic gains in his address, with the steel plant visit reinforcing the message that the administration's policies benefit blue-collar workers.
