Nellore officials vowed to expedite land acquisition for district projects, including infrastructure and industrial schemes, at a high-level meeting. Discussions focused on the Nadikudi Srikalahasti broad-gauge railway line and the need for prompt compensation to landowners. Officials also decided to accelerate work on railway bridges to eliminate transport bottlenecks. They aimed to expedite land acquisition for the phase 1 and phase 2 of the National Highway from Badvel to Nellore, securing quick forest clearance to avoid delays. The meeting discussed drinking water pipelines for Gilakapadu and Veerayyapalem and the proposed industrial hub. The meeting also examined road works from Buchchi to Dagadarthi and the Vinjamur pipeline.

Ananda, the district collector, stated that utmost priority would be given to these projects to facilitate their early completion, assuring that all hurdles would be removed.

"These projects are of immense importance to the district's development and economic growth," he added. "Therefore, all possible efforts will be made to remove any obstacles that may arise during their implementation."

The officials' proactive approach bodes well for the district's infrastructure and industrial development, offering a boost to local economy and livelihoods.
