Hyderabad Police educate citizens on road safety, anti-drug efforts at iconic exhibition

In a bid to improve road safety and raise awareness about the dangers of drugs, the Hyderabad City Police has launched innovative stalls at the city's iconic Numaish exhibition. The initiative was inaugurated by Hyderabad City Police Commissioner CV Anand, who expressed the belief that the stalls would allow citizens to learn about the cutting-edge technology used by the city's traffic management authorities.

The stalls provide a range of experiences, from friendly interactions with police staff about traffic rules and road safety to a firsthand look at the state-of-the-art technology used by the Hyderabad City Police. One of the stalls showcased the road safety signs, achievements, and latest technology deployed by the Traffic Police, including laser speed guns, body-worn cameras, and other devices. Moreover, visitors learned about the dangers of drugs and the services offered by the Hyderabad City Police's SHE teams.

Anand, who shared his childhood memories of visiting Numaish, stated that several visits are necessary to do justice to the expansive fair, which is a shopaholic's paradise and an integral part of Hyderabad's culture. With the aim of reviving the economy, the police will support Numaish at all levels.

Going forward, Anand's colleagues appreciated the reduction in crime rate in the city and applauded the Commissioner's commitment to making Hyderabad a safer place.

Conclusion:

With the innovative stalls initiative, the Hyderabad City Police are not only educating citizens on road safety and anti-drug efforts but also engaging them in a friendly and interactive way. This is testimony to the authorities' commitment to leveraging creative ways to bolster road safety and reduce the dangers posed by drugs.
