Speaking at an event centered around the Ganesh festival, Naidu lauded the efforts of the BJP district unit in carrying forward the tradition of celebrating Ganesh festivals for the past four decades. He urged the community to continue the same tradition of Ganesh festivals, as started by Bala Gangadhar, for the promotion of unity among the Hindu community.

The former Vice President expressed concern over the declining popularity of the Telugu language and urged cultural organizations to take initiative in promoting the language at a grassroots level. He also called on the government to play a role in promoting the language.
