Hyderabad drug raid stops 'raves' and catches six in the act

Drugs bust caught on city outskirts, six detained including businessmen, a homemaker, a software engineer, and an engineering student. Seized 20 grams of cocaine, 8 ecstasy pills, and 3 grams of MDMA. MADHAPUR DCP G Vineeth confirmed the arrest of two peddlers, a transporter, and three consumers.

Raids are underway to catch Rahul, a Bengaluru-based supplier who is avoiding the authorities. Teja, a 28-year-old cloud kitchen business owner, was arrested as the mastermind.

Police stated that he obtained cocaine disguised as skin care injections via a courier service in Rajahmundry. The drugs were then distributed at parties in Hyderabad, farmhouses, and even in Goa.

Others arrested include Vikram, a 41-year-old homemaker Neelima, 36-year-old Prashanth Reddy, and 31-year-old Bhargav. They also arrested 20-year-old Chandan, who transported the drugs.

Police are intensifying their efforts to curb rising drug-related crimes in the area.

This unfolding scenario has alarmed many citizens, and the police are taking proactive steps to prevent such incidents.
