Pharmaceutical Company Owner Live, Allegations, Counterclaims Emerge AmidProbe

Amid growing allegations and counterclaims, a proprietor of a pharmaceutical company went live on social media to deny any wrongdoing, following the arrest of one of its partners by the Narcotics Control Bureau in a case of alleged illegal sale of narcotics. Web journalist Deepak Bhandari, a partner in the company and known for running a web channel, denied the accusations and stated that the company had a valid license for the purchase and supply of Tramadol. He further defended the doctors named in the case, alleging a conspiracy to silence and defame him and his family and friends.

The Narcotics Control Bureau has registered a case against the partners of Ballista Pharmaceuticals and doctors associated with two hospitals in Amritsar for allegedly selling narcotic drugs illegally. One partner, Amit Bhandari, is currently in NCB custody. Deepak Bhandari, in his video, specifically accused Sukhdeep Singh, Drugs Control Officer, of falsely implicating him in retaliation for a story he had done on his web channel against the officer.

Singh refuted these claims, stating that Deepak Bhandari had previously tried to attack him in connection with another case involving DSP Vavinder Mahajan. Singh requested his department to consider a re-inspection by an independent team. "If Deepak Bhandari has any issues with the inspection report, I welcome a fresh audit by a different set of officers," he added.

Follow this story as authorities investigate the case further.
