Parole for Crime, PR Stunt for Cover-up? CBI Probe Demanded

YSRCP leader Kakani Govardhan Reddy has demanded a CBI investigation into the recent "attempt to murder" videos circulated by the TDP-led coalition government. He described the videos as a political drama to deflect attention from the controversial parole issue of history sheeter A Srikanth.

Reddy, formerly a minister, spoke to the media for the first time since his release on bail. He claimed that the current government had never been seen giving parole and exposing its party leaders until now.

Reddy also warned MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy, saying that he should watch his speech since he has no stature to talk about YSRCP leadership. If Sridhar Reddy is sincere, he should petition for a CBI probe into the issue, challenged Reddy.

Reddy alleged that all the anti-social elements seen in the video are followers of Sridhar Reddy, who is blaming the YSRCP for this ridiculous reason. This proves that CBN has lost control over his MLAs.

He accused CBN of prioritizing new projects, providing mobilization advance for kickbacks, and then forgetting about the promises made during elections. Agriculture has not been a priority, with no MSP, urea shortages, and other input shortages. Farmers haven't received any government support, Kakani added.

He praised YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for ensuring that all benefits reached farmers on time and RBKs as a one-stop shop for them.
