Last week in Cyberabad, Telangana, 319 motorists were booked by traffic police for drunk driving between August 25 and August 30, during a special enforcement drive. The data reveals that Miyapur had the highest number of cases (41), while Raidurgam reported the lowest (3). From August 25-30, courts disposed of a total of 217 drunk driving cases. Of these, 205 offenders were fined, and 12 were sentenced to jail. The jail terms ranged from one day to four days, and 12 others were assigned social service as part of their sentence.
