Heightened security and the call to start celebrations early: Hyderabad's Ganesh idol immersion guide for 2022

After a meeting with community elders, police appealed to Ganesh Utsav organizers to restart the earlier practice of immersion processions in the morning and finishing them by evening.

This call aims to ensure devotees and organizers reach home safely and early. The meeting was attended by police officers, Bhagyanagar Utsav Samithi leaders, and community representatives.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (South Zone) Sneha Mehra emphasized the extensive security preparations for the festivities while appealing to organizers and the public for cooperation.

This year's Ganesh celebrations will set a trend of early processions and immersions, assured Chatrinaka ACP C.H. Chandrasekhar.

The meeting emphasized the importance of ensuring a safe, smooth, and early celebration of the Ganesh Chaturthi festival this year.

It concluded with an assurance that the festivities will set a trend of starting the processions early and completing the immersions by evening.

Additional DCP South Zone M.D. Majid, Chatrinaka inspectors Prasad Varma, Gopal Rao, Satyam, Narasimha Naik, and Chandrashekhar were present at the meeting, along with Bhagyanagar Utsav Samithi leaders Mahender, Roop Raj, and Uday, Gowlipura corporator A. Bhagyalaxmi Bhaskar, and other community representatives.
