Samsung has launched its Galaxy A17 5G smartphone in India, expanding its affordable portfolio. The Galaxy A17 5G is the first Galaxy A series phone to feature Samsung's proprietary Galaxy AI technology alongside the 50MP Galaxy Sensor. The smartphone features a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. It comes with a 6.6-inch FHD+ display on the front with a 90Hz refresh rate and a pixel density of 399 PPI. Under the hood, the Galaxy A17 5G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC.

The device runs Android 12 with One UI Core 4.1 skin on top and is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support. For security, it features a rear fingerprint sensor and also comes with face recognition technology.
