SP affidavits ignore 17,986, Akhilesh lashes out at 'jugaad commission'

The SP affidavits of 17,986 candidates were ignored, according to Akhilesh. He criticised the BJP-led state government for this and referred to it as a "jugaad commission". This commission is tasked with finding ways to bypass the Supreme Court's order on reservations for minorities within the state.

He went on to say that if the state government fails to give adequate explanations for this disregard, he will be forced to assume that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and his associates are engaged in "gross corruption and gross abuse of power." He further added that this assumption would be made considering the government's tendency to ignore important issues that affect people's lives.

The former CM of Uttar Pradesh concluded his statement by saying that the state government is numb to the pain of the people and only indulges in gimmicks to attract media attention. He further warned them of the consequences of their actions and deemed their behaviour to be shameful.
