Hyderabad's congested roads and lengthy flyover construction frustrate residents and commuters alike. The condition of the roads, which have developed severe damage and are the cause of regular traffic jams, has worsened due to monsoon rains. The focus of traffic police on catching violators rather than resolving these issues has angered locals.

Recently, locals in Hyderabad have found it increasingly difficult to get around the city due to ongoing construction on the Malakpet-Santosh Nagar flyover and the poor conditions of the roads in the area. This has led to frequent traffic jams and damaged roads, leaving residents and commuters frustrated.

One local, Vignesh Kumar, complains that the traffic police focus on catching traffic violators more than managing traffic flow and collaborating with civic authorities to fix the roads. He argues that the route from Santosh Nagar to Malakpet, which passes through crucial junctions such as IS Sadan, Dhobighat, and Saidabad, is especially hazardous.

Another local, Mohiuddin Khan, highlighted regular traffic jams and unsafe road conditions during monsoon season, especially on the stretch from IS Sadan to Chanchalguda Jail road. He emphasized the increased risk of accidents due to potholes and poor infrastructure.

Residents and local forums are collectively urging the civic body to repair the roads as soon as possible.

"The roads are damaging vehicles, leading to expensive repairs, and the flyover's slow progress is infuriating. It's about time the civic body and traffic police take these issues seriously," stated K Srikanth, a resident of Saidabad.
