Hyderabad Police Hold Mega-Event to Celebrate International Women's Day

The Hyderabad City Police have taken a step in the right direction with the "Run for Action-2025" program, organized on International Women's Day at the People's Plaza in Hyderabad. The event was attended by over 5,000 students, with CV Anand, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City, stating that the theme centered around running for action and accelerating initiatives on women's safety and women's empowerment. In another significant development, the Central Railways operated the Vande Bharat Express with an all-women crew for the first time to celebrate International Women's Day.

The train, which traveled from CSMT to Shirdi, had female pilots, assistant pilots, train managers, TCs, and train hostesses. The day also marked a proud moment for Shweta Ghone, the Central Railway Passenger Train Manager, who emphasized that when women are empowered, their entire families become empowered. This further reflected on Rubina Begum, CSMT-Shirdi Train Hostess, who emphasized the importance of women being self-reliant and independent.

With initiatives like these, we are hopeful of seeing a safer and more empowered future for women in India.
