Former minister and YSRC district president Dr. Kakani Govardhan Reddy stated that a false case had been filed against former MLA Ramireddy Pratap Kumar Reddy, accusing the TD of engaging in corruption and irregularities and targeting the YSRC with false cases.

He insisted on the issuance of justice for the victims of the Rs 900 crore money scam in the Kavali constituency. Govardhan Reddy warned that the YSRC would escalate its protests with a Chalo Annavaram program if the administration did not address the allegations.

Also, they demanded an investigation into the alleged money scam and illegal mining, assuring full support to party cadres facing false cases. They stated that the ruling alliance was misusing police, shielding corruption, and intimidating the opposition.
