After a suspension of over four years following the 2020 border clashes that resulted in the deaths of 20 Indian soldiers and four Chinese soldiers, India and China have agreed to resume direct flights between their countries. This decision comes as part of broader efforts to mend bilateral relations, highlighted by recent meetings between foreign ministers from both nations. In addition to reinstating flights, agreements have been reached to allow journalists from each country to operate within the other's borders and to facilitate Indian pilgrims' access to sacred sites in Tibet.
