To change this, the Energy Minister of Andhra Pradesh, India, Mr. Gottipati Ravikumar, launched a bicycle distribution drive for government high school students in Addanki Constituency. So far, over 3,000 bicycles have been distributed across many government high schools in the region.

Mr. Ravikumar personally handed out 316 bicycles to students at GHS in J Panguluru. He stated that the government is committed to providing necessary infrastructure for students to ensure that they perform at their best and on par with students from corporate schools. The distribution drive was made possible with CSR funds from ASSIST and Megha, which the Minister thanked.

In addition to the bicycle distribution drive, the Minister also distributed NTR Bharosa pensions to beneficiaries at their doorsteps in J Panguluru village. The Vidyonnati Foundation, Ongole, also distributed scholarships worth 3 lakh to 30 students at the event.

Such initiatives from the government and private sector will help empower many young students, paving the way for them to create a successful future.
