Speaking at the event, Kakani Govardhan Reddy, YSRC district president, highlighted the late leader's imprint on Andhra Pradesh with his visionary initiatives. Among these initiatives were major development projects in the Nellore district, including the constructions of Sangam and Kandaleru barrages and the Krishnapatnam Port. The Aarogyasri, fee reimbursement, Jalayagnam, and industrial SEZs schemes place the state on a path of progress.

MLC Parvatha Reddy Chandrasekhar Reddy credited the former chief minister with bringing nationwide recognition to Andhra Pradesh through his reforms in the education, healthcare, agriculture, and employment sectors.
