Hyderabad Police Host Run for Action-2025 on International Women's Day

The Hyderabad City Police organized "Run for Action-2025" at People's Plaza in Necklace Road, Hyderabad. The event witnessed over 5,000 participants to celebrate International Women's Day.

The event aimed to accelerate action on women's safety and women's empowerment. Speaking to ANI, CV Anand, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City, expressed admiration for the large turnout and echoed the event's theme.

He stated, "Today, over 5,000 students have participated here in the 5k and 2k run to celebrate this event... "

The event coincided with the Central Railways' unique operation of the Vande Bharat Express with an all-women crew. The CR's decision to conduct goods trains with similar crews. The loco pilot, assistant loco pilot, train manager, TCs, and train hostesses reflected the event's theme of women's empowerment.

The Loco Pilot Mail, Central Railway Mumbai, Surekha Shankar Yadav, expressed her joy. Shweta Ghone, the Central Railway Passenger Train Manager, sharing her thoughts on the initiative, said, "When a woman becomes capable, she makes her entire family capable. When every woman becomes capable, our country progresses."

The event concluded with the CSMT-Shirdi Train Hostess Rubina Begum emphasizing the need for every woman to be self-reliant and independent.
