Cyberabad police bust rave party, arrest 6 in upscale neighbourhood

Six individuals, including businessmen, a homemaker, a software engineer, and an engineering student, were arrested in a significant drug enforcement operation in Hyderabad's Kondapur neighbourhood. The raid was conducted by Cyberabad Police in conjunction with Telanganas elite anti-narcotics unit, Eagle.

Madhapur DCP G. Vineeth confirmed the arrest of two peddlers, a transporter, and three consumers in the operation. Officers seized 20 grams of cocaine, 8 ecstasy pills (20 grams), and 3 grams of MDMA from the suspects. The mastermind behind the operation, Teja, who owns a cloud kitchen business, sourced cocaine disguised as skin care injections and organized parties in Hyderabad and Goa where the drugs were circulated. Police stated that Teja obtained the drugs from Rajahmundry and Goa and organized rave parties in Hyderabad.

The raid was part of an effort to combat the growing problem of drug trafficking and rave parties in the region. Police are still looking for Bengaluru-based supplier Rahul, who is believed to be the source of the drugs.

This operation highlights the increasing drug problem in India and authorities' commitment to tackling it.
