This development comes shortly after a series of attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities, which Iran has blamed on Israel.

According to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Iran has increased its stockpile of uranium enriched to 60% fissile purity, which is close to the level required for weapons-grade material, to as much as 10 kilograms (22 pounds) from the 3.5 kilograms (7.7 pounds) reported in August.
