Telangana police continue to uphold public safety during the Ganesha Chaturthi celebrations. In a two-day operation, the Adilabad district's She Teams apprehended three men for harassing women in public places. Complainants Bablu, Awaz, and Santosh were arrested for harassing women visiting different puja pandals in the district. In other news, a woman was arrested at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport for carrying 3.1 kg of hydroponic ganja valued at Rs. 3 crore. Moreover, a Pocso special court in Medchal convicted a 38-year-old labourer in a child sexual harassment case and sentenced him to seven years in prison and a Rs. 20,000 fine.
