The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) will operate 230 special buses in Hyderabad to facilitate Ganesh immersion ceremonies, scheduled for September 6 and 7. The move is aimed at streamlining traffic management and providing convenient transportation for devotees.
The TSRTC is collaborating with the Hyderabad Traffic Police to ensure seamless coordination between bus operations and vehicle movement during the immersion process. To this effect, TGSRTC officers and staff will be stationed at the DCP office control rooms and the Command & Control Centre to communicate with the Hyderabad Traffic Police in real-time.
Moreover, controllers have been deployed at 32 strategic locations across the city to regulate bus operations and 64 drivers and 58 mechanics will be assisting the Hyderabad Traffic Police in dealing with private vehicle breakdowns to ensure smooth traffic flow. According to Hyderabad Regional Manager Sudha Parimala, the TSRTC is committed to serving the public during major city events and will collaborate with traffic officials to minimize traffic disruptions while providing safe and reliable transportation.
The deployment of dedicated staff and coordination with traffic authorities reflect the TSRTC's efforts to ensure a smooth and safe celebration for the city's Ganesh immersion ceremony this year.
