Ahead of the upcoming Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections, Ponguru Narayana is leaving no stone unturned in his campaign to win the Nellore Assembly seat for the Telugu Desam Party (TDP). The former Minister exuded confidence in his party's prospects, citing the "appreciation" of TDP's work by the locals. The AP Assembly elections and the fourth phase of the Lok Sabha polls will take place on May 13, 2024. In the run-up to the polls, TDP has promised "20 lakh jobs for the youth" and "unemployment allowance of Rs. 3,000 per month" if the party wins. The former Minister is campaigning vigorously with promises of a better future for the locals.

Despite the YSRCP's impressive performance in the previous Assembly elections, winning 151 out of 175 seats, TDP will look to strengthen its voter base and form a formidable opposition to the ruling party. The outcome of the election will be determined by young voters and their expectations from the next government.
