On January 30, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) conducted a precision airstrike in Northwest Syria, killing Muhammad Salah al-Za'bir, a senior operative of the Al-Qaeda-affiliated group Hurras al-Din (HaD). CENTCOM confirmed the operation in a statement, emphasizing that al-Za'bir was a key figure in the terrorist network.
