Singing reality shows have given us many gems and established numerous singing stars and idols. However, the magic that is created between the singer and their live audience is a unique phenomenon, which can never be replicated by these reality shows. This is the pure and untouched beauty of live music, remarks renowned singer Rekha Bhardwaj.

Bhardwaj, who has sung many of her songs live across India and abroad, including at the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York, points out how the live audience instantly connects with the emotions of the singer, with a handshake of souls, and heart to heart connections.

She adds, "the twinkle in their eyes shines bright, and their smiles convey the feelings of the song. This is the magic I'm talking about, and this cannot be created in any reality show".

Her advice to new singers is to "never ignore live music as that is what will give you the superhigh that every artist craves".

The acclaimed singer was speaking on the sidelines of her mega musical concert, "Rekha Bhardwaj Live - Music Beyond Boundaries", which was held in Delhi NCR on April 30, 2022.

The concert saw Rekha Bhardwaj render some of her superhit songs like "Samandar", "Kabir", "Lambi Judai", and many more.

She was accompanied by the well-known musician and composer Gustavo Santaolalla and his band, along with renowned drummer Gino Banks and flautist Ritwik De. The concert was produced by Manish Gandhi and Think Art Media.
