Hyderabad Raids Crack Down on Elite Drug Ring

Body Paragraphs:

In a recent crackdown on drug abuse, the Cyberabad Police coordinated with Telanganas elite anti-narcotics unit, Eagle, to bust a rave party and arrest six individuals, including businessmen, a homemaker, a software engineer, and an engineering student. The raid took place at Rajeshwari Nilayam service apartment in Kondapur on the citys outskirts.

The police seized 20 grams of cocaine, 8 ecstasy pills (20 grams), and 3 grams of MDMA, indicating that the drug ring was operating at a significant level. Madhapur DCP G. Vineeth confirmed the arrest of two peddlers, a transporter, and three consumers, including Teja, a 28-year-old mastermind who owned a cloud kitchen business. Teja, who was arrested, sourced cocaine disguised as skin care injections from Rahul, a Bengaluru-based supplier. Others arrested were Vikram, a poultry farm businessman also accused of peddling; 41-year-old homemaker Neelima; 36-year-old Prashanth Reddy, a wine shop owner; 31-year-old software engineer Bhargav; and 20-year-old engineering student Chandan, who acted as transporter.

Police identified Neelima as a consumer of three types of narcotics, while Teja tested positive for five types of drugs. The other two consumers were also habitual users, while Chandan tested negative. The raid was part of an intensified drive to curb rising drug trafficking and rave parties in Hyderabad, and police are currently looking for supplier Rahul.
